D'Fence - School of the Sword

It is time again to polish up your blade and head off to class. Fencing takes a quick eye and sharp wit to master. Never too old or too young to start!!

Started in the Summer of 2000, the D'Fence School has brought culture and excitement to the Western end of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. It's members, creating the Cold Army, have been bringing history alive in a truly romantic and authentic way. By helping local theater groups and cultural events around the area, D'Fence has begun a new form of public awareness about the myth of the sword.

Light Fighting; the use and techniques involved when Dueling with the Rapier, i.e. as a Musketeer.

Heavy Fighting; Combat both one-on-one and in mass (melee) in full armor, i.e..  as King Arthur and his Knights.

No reason to fear - all safety precautions are adhered to. This is a game of honor and there is no room for attitudes or personal disputes.
