Here In the U.P. we need a little diversion now and again, so we like to revert to our less civil ancestry and have fun rather than "be proper". Here you can say "Aarrrgh!" as a greeting, fart to compliment a meal, and use flamboyant insults to make friends. The Scandinavian cultures are adored here - at least those from roughly 1,000 years ago before the plague of Christendom. (Any believers should not take offence to this, It is all in fun...even though countless lives were lost through the conversion of religion we are not going to hold that against you.)
